Join BEUMER Group A/S's Software Platform Team and lead the development of the core platform that powers BEUMER Group A/S's global software ecosystem. You will be at the center of enabling fast, secure, and frictionless product development – making it easy for teams to build the right thing, the right way. In other words, you will be shaping how +270 developers build software at scale.
This is a leadership role with real impact: you will define how BEUMER Group A/S builds software across the company while growing a high-performing, international team (Denmark, Germany, Poland).
Your Mission
Make product, project, and support teams highly effective by removing complexity and enabling seamless software development and operations.
You will lead a global team of engineers, set clear direction, and drive a strong platform mindset across the organization. You report to the Global Head of Platform and work closely with a small leadership team shaping BEUMER Group A/S's future software ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team of 8–12 engineers
- Own the platform roadmap and execution of it as the Technical Product Owner
- Deliver a frictionless, self-service developer experience
- Embed security, compliance, and best practices into the platform by default
- Leverage AI to enhance developer productivity and platform capabilities
- Drive adoption and alignment with architecture and platform strategy
What You Bring
BEUMER Group A/S expects you to have proven experience in leading a software engineering team, either formally or informally, and to have a strong grasp of modern development (DevOps, CI/CD, cloud-native, security).
You also have:
- Experience applying AI/automation to improve developer workflows or platforms
- The ability to connect technology, product, and people
- Strong stakeholder management in a global setup
- Passion for simplicity, usability, and developer experience
You succeed by building and empowering a high-performing team that delivers tangible business impact through secure, compliant, and efficient software delivery. You lead the integration of AI into developer workflows and drive widespread platform adoption and trust.
